I just sent my payment off for a Genesis 1588 with auto egg turner 1611. It says just add water and plug it in but is there any little accessories I should get beforehand? Ill be recieving some hatching eggs end of Febuary and im going to do a test hatch with my neighbors mixed breeds when it comes in. So other than eggs what should i buy to go with it? I have NO experience with incubating eggs and dont want to screw up with the bbs orpington bantams or barred bantams im getting.

Just got mine yesterday, same as yours.

From what I understand, we should also have a hygrometer.

I'm sure someone more knowlegeable than I will help you/us more.

You will want another thermometer that has humidity reading as well. The one that came with mine was junk. I use three thermometers just to be sure of accuracy. Good luck. Oh ya, you need fertile eggs. LOL
