I have a bunch of LG's. Hatch rates are 80%-95% usually with a few 100% hatches.

Cheap, works well when one figures out the quirks of the thing. One can find more of them
at give away bargains when others have bad hatches in them due to their quirks.

The quirks...What I don't like.
Needs a better temp adjustment knob on top.- Used a washer and made marks on the incubator and washer about where to set it every time.

Newer style egg turner-I like the older prong ones to hold any size egg.

Gap between bottom and top keeps temps and humidity fluctuating badly-Must seal that up.

I use a LYON RX2 EGG INCUBATOR got it on cragslist for what do the chicks say....cheap cheap. works great temp and humidity stay right where you set them.

I too loaded the Brinsea 20 on day 7..rock steady.!! I also have a full LG forced air of my own eggs..EEs..have had to adjust several times..but I have had several successful hatches in it. I also have 2 other LGs that are horrible!!

Homemade Egg-U-Bator (cooler incubator) it's doing good, it's keeping the temps 97-101. most of the time I look in there the temps are 99 & 100 (ya I got 2 thermometers) I'll tell you the hatch rate after Easter! This is our first hatch ever! I can't wait. My husband is afraid that they'll all hatch. I told him not to count the eggs, count the chicks AFTER they hatch.
