I am new here and am wondering about the prices of incubators and when I should buy one. I won't be able to use it till next spring. So my question is how stable are the prices are they much higher now than last year? do the prices drop for the off season?

Come August, September, I would call GQF and ask them if they have a special going for a Hovabator 1588 w/ auto turner.

If you are not going to hatch alot of eggs, save your money and buy a silkie hen. She will go broody for you three times a years and you won't
have to go though al the nail biting. She does all the work and you get all the chicks. Believe me if I didn't hatch near an many eggs, I would use only hens to do it. When you need to replace a couple hundred layers at a time, you can't always do it with broody hens.

I purchased a 1588 Gensis hovabator with
an automatic turner from
Cutlers supply !55.95 plus S,H, 12.95
hope this helps.works great.
