incubator problem

yesterday was day 19 on incubating and for some reason my incubator went crazy and the temperature got up to 109. do you think they have died with that temperature?

It depends on how long they were at that temperature. It is not a good thing, but it takes a while for the core temperature to go up. Some people still have good hatches after something like that happens and sometimes the eggs are cooked.

i'm with ridgerunner....wait and see what happens! i've had power outages, bator problems and still managed to get some eggs to hatch it really depends on the length of time the problem had to manifest itself into the developing chicks.
