Hello everyone.
I had my second batch of button quail eggs in my homemade bator. It all went well till day
16. Two days past hatch day i started to wonder what's wrong and cracked the eggs open. Inside were dead, fully formed chicks. Some had also pipped internally. It was extremely heartbreaking :( what do you guys think went wrong? The same thing happened to a few chicks in the batch before too. Any suggestions from you guys would help a ton. I can correct the problem so the next batch is not a disaster again
Thanks

I haven't tried to hatch quail... yet... but that happened to my ducks and chicks when humidity was too high. I started dry incubating and had much better hatches. Sorry you lost so many chicks!

Thanks a lot for the helpful comment. I think what I need is a new hydrometer
