Incubator question.

If the bottom of the turner has these little rectangular led (lights) its set up for the egg candler---whether it works or not.

Okay so then the button is just there, I have the 56A. Oh well. I have duck eggs. It's all good, I don't mind hand candling. I am a very new incubationist lol so no I wasn't using another thermometer. Can you give me an example of a semi cheap extra thermometer I should use? Thank you for all your help. I'm trying to learn as much as I can.

About any thermometer can be off a little. I been doing it so long mine are marked to what they should read to be correct. Some swear by the ear/temple thermometer being accurate. I would get something decent and compare. If you got app 28 day to hatch duck eggs---you can open the incubator for a short each day up to day 24/25 if you wanted to check things.
