i am leaving my duck egg in the incubator while I am away for the day. I don’t want to keep the top all the way on it in fear it will get too hot. At night I leave the lid slightly open and the reps stay between 90-100 degrees. The humidity is usually at 40-55%. Will the egg be ok not being turned over for a couple hours? What if the humidity drops while I am away?
Is it better to be under the needed heat/humidity than over?
Thanks in advance. This is my first time incubating an egg.
