Incubator question

Anyway, I have my incubator going since yesterday and the red light has stayed on practically since i uncovered the hole. However the temperature has not moved since I plugged it in at 103 (really 100 since it is 3 degree's off).
so is the light being on all the time good or bad?

The light being on all the time means it is trying to maintain temperature. If you can find a way to insulate it without restricting airflow you can reduce your electricity use and better control temps.

What kind of bator are u using? I NEVER go by the Thermometer on my styro. I use three thermometers CAILIBRATE its important too!

its a hovabator 1602n
I did add water and took out a red thingy
i'm just curious on how to get it to the right temperature. my room is not that cold.

I am thinking perhaps its because its right by my fish tank?
I'm thinking about moving my fish tank somewhere else or putting the incubator on a side table away from the fish tank.
Hmm.
