Incubator question

What temp is ideal for chicken eggs? The tempurature in my home made bator is usually right around 102 Fahrenheit. Is 102 degrees to much? How can I cool it down if its to hot

98 - 100 degrees is the usual. It depends on how you made your incubator..

It's an 18x18 inch box made of osb. Could the chicks survive 102? I'm going to tinker with it before I put eggs in. Just wants to know what I should look or. Thanks

Some chicks do survive high temperatures but some don't so it hard to say..

It will be a week on the 22nd. Ill see them I guess. I got the box to 99 degrees so I'm hopefully ill hatch a few
