incubator question ???

were at 14now 5 more still waiting on how long should we leave them in the incubator over night or should we take them out already ????

Chicks can stay in the incubator for up to 3 days without being fed or watered is leave them until more eggs hatch if they are going too

I have a similar issue with my incubator it is a farm innovators fan model. The left side seems to stay a couple degrees warmer for some reason. It seems to me that fan must not circulate the air very well in these small incubators so far I am ignoring the difference and gonna see what happens. I have a full load in there so I can't move them to the other side. Maybe I will rotate them when I candle I'm not sure yet
which model of incubator is it

Farm innovators circulated air. I don't know the model number its the common one sold at fleet farm and probably other farm stores. So far that slight variance doesn't seem to matter

Well, I took my eggs out of the turner last night and put them in "lockdown", approximately 7PM was their 18 day mark, and by 8:30 this morning I already have an external pip! 18 and a half days, this one must be in a hurry!

My batch of eggs in the farm innovators model 4200, I think that's the model, had started pipping on day 20. I still have some hatching today on day 22. My eggs didn't position themselves right so they had lots of complications. :( The incubator looks like it will be hard to clean out.

How do they not position themselves right? I just lay mine on their side after taking them from the turner. It isn't hard to clean out at all, just remove the wire mesh flooring and wipe the foam base out with a light bleach solution or some alcohol, cleans up easy enough, you shouldn't really have to clean the top.

I had small end pointing up. They went at the top instead of the bottom where the air bubble is.

How are you suppose to keep chicks in the brooder before moving to the bitty/ grower box?

I don't understand your question, what is the problem you are having keeping the chicks in the brooder? I put them in the brooder until they are large enough to go to the coop then they go to the coop, I have to put a cover over the chick brooder after they are a couple weeks old or they will fly out. That is the only issue I have with a brooder.
