Here's a little update guys. Finally finished the bator. I ended up mounting the fan. The temp is a bit too high though even though I have some ventilation holes. Any suggestions to control the temp? The bulb is 25 watts

I think all you can do is lower the wattage of the bulb. Putting in too many vent holes may not be a good idea.

Thanks for the suggestion I think I'll give 15 watts a shot

You may have to work with it a bit and maybe shrink the size of your box down to raise the temp with the lower wattage bulb. I have never made a homemade incubator. Ever! LOL But I am just thinking along the lines of the factory made ones that I do have to give you some ideas. I hope you can get yours to work!

I had a 13w energy saver lying around. Tried it and it's perfect! Temp is right about 99.5. A little too humid but that's settling down too. Thanks for the help hopefully gonna get eggs soon. Oh and I have no ventilation now. Should I put some holes? If so then where would be the perfect place on the bator to put em?
