I came home today and was a little worried . My Hova-Bator has been keeping good temp and humidity and I am on day 10 of my quail hatch. The thing that has me worried is the smell. For some reason today their is a smell coming from the incubator. It is kind hard to describe the smell, it is not overpowering but it smell sort of rotten.

Is this normal?

definently wan't to get the smelly eggs out soon. I once left them in for too long and one exploded in the bator. It gets all over the other eggs and is just a mess. Plus I think with that smell they are rotting and it can affect the other eggs with the bacteria they are growing.

Best to get the bad ones out of there as soon as possible so the others are not contaminated!
