Incubator Started to Malfunction on Hatch Day!

Bit of an update: since Friday (hatch day) we've had three fully hatch, two of which we have had to help a bit. One guy lays on his side, not able to get up, but we'll keep an eye on him, make sure he figures it out. Not sure if these eggs got bacteria in them at some point, the brief humidity spike hurt them, or my girls layed defective eggs, but something happened. We've got another guy who pipped and has been trying to get out all day. Might end up helping him too. We'll be keeping everything running for a couple more days, just in case. Out of 48 eggs, 21 were fertilized, and three hatches. The 9300 gets a big thumbs down on my part.

Not to pour salt in the wound, but join the club. That is the worst incubator I have ever used. People can be somewhat successful if they can babysit them, but it is constantly the worst reviewed incubator on BYC. The problem is that TSC sells them, so they are readily available, and people just don't know that there are better options out there. The new 9300 seems especially problematic. People who use the older 9200, without the digital display, don't seem to have as much trouble. It's the most used incubator by people new to incubating, and the hardest to use

We use a 9200, but found at the last minute that the motor broke. Needed a quick fix as the eggs we collected were starting to get older. We could've waited and collected more, but wanted to make sure they'd be ready for the winter.
