I have a GQF cabinet incubator. It has two wafers and thermostats. One is the thermostat and the other is supposed to be a cut off if it reaches 102 degrees. We got the incubator second hand and everything worked perfect! We watched it for about 3 days getting our temp on 98 and making sure it was gonna hold the temo properly. It done great! Put our quail eggs in and checked it everyday. They stayed in for about 2 weeks and all was good. One evening we went down to check everything and the temperature was pegged out! I think it shows to 130 degrees. So needless to say we had to toss the eggs. We replaced the two wafers and the old ones were real springy and apart further than the new. So after we put the new wafers in we watched it on and off all day and the temp was holding and when you adjusted the temp the redlight would come on and off properly.(because when it pegged out the redlight just stayed on no matter what you done) So we left the incubator running the day and night. The next morning we go to look and it is pegged out again doing the same thing? Does anyone know what could be causing it to do this and what we need to replace? Thanks
