To all the goose egg hatchers out there, I could use your help and suggestions. I have 4 Pilgrim eggs in my home made incubator and they are on day 12 today. I candled them last night and there is a lot of life and movement in 3 of them. (I'm pretty sure the 4th has expired.) I really want to see these three babies make it. My home made Gopher-Bator (from the BYC contest) is doing pretty well but the temps fluctuate from 97 to 101. It is often at 99 or 100 but the water-heater thermostat is just not that sensitive, I guess. I tried a digital home thermostat but they aren't programed to be set that high (they won't let you do it). Will my goslings survive like this??? they've made it this far and I know we've still got a ways to go.
