incubator temps forced air

i have a THL2 data logger in my bator that i ordered from Strombergs i plug it into the computer and it shows what my
temps and humidity were. for the most part is says 99.5 but for a couple minutes occasionally it dips down to 99.3 my incubator is adjustated by a dial should i move it up a bit or keep it like this? also i have three other thermometer in and they all read slightly different temperatures. i dont have eggs in yet but will tomorrow any suggestions?

I think you may have a typo - 99.5 both times? It is normal for an incubator to fluctuate slightly and that should not cause issues. Some incubators actually build in a cool down phase to mimic the hen getting off the nest daily for a short time.

A couple of minutes is not going to change the internal temp of the egg. I'd say leave it alone if it's going well or you risk bigger problems.

I wish that was all mine fluctuated!! That's perfectly fine. Don't adjust for that little amount. I'm happy if I can keep mine between 99-100.

I agree, that should not concern you at all.

This might interest you - I have not tried it, but do open the incubator daily to check the eggs and turn the ones not in the turner.
