Yes, it's a mottled, and they both came from the same parents. I got the original pair in a trade for silkies before I really knew anything about the SOP. I don't show, so I won't replace them. I have taken the original pair to 3 hens now, and have 6 of their offspring in the brooder to hopefully get a few more girls. The original hen was mille fleur, but excessively white. The rooster is obviously mixed, because he is throwing mille fleur and black mottled. The mottled are also excessively white. I will sell them as pet quality once I have enough of my own
