I hatched me a brood of 3 chicks with a buff orpington and they turned out nice. There mother was killed when they were about 2 weeks though so i brought them inside and raised them in a big dog kennel.

-35, hey you guys look like experts, I want some hens that will hatch out chicks but still lay plenty of eggs. What are some good breeds?
