Dang it! I left a lone gosling that hatched yesterday till this morning in my Hovabator 1602N. I was moving the other ducks out of first brooder arrangement to make room for him and other duck eggs that may be hatching. I found the poor baby hung with it's head wedged up in the area of the wafer. It must have stood on the other eggs and climbed up there. It was my second from my Holdderreads Super African yearling pair ,and I'd taken the egg from a broody goose (first bunch for her and been raining hard here for days, when I noticed it had pipped the wrong end, so I brought it inside to put in hatcher).
