Have a friend I was just on the phone with and he wanted me to ask about his problem , When the biddies start to hatch out in the incubator they don't get all the way out and the white is dried to them , he says he is wondering if the cardboard egg crates he is using is causing the problem ?

Sounds like too low of humidity to me. Look up "shrink-wrapped chicks" and see if that's his problem.

He says that's what it sounds like they start out and never make it and they are dried with the white stuck to them !

If he can get a hydrometer in his incubator and make sure his humidity at lockdown is between 60 and 70, it would probably improve his hatches, then.
