Incubator?

what kind of incubator should I use their are so many and I don't know which one to get

don't get one of those yellow bubble incubators that cost 20 bucks they are terrible!!!

You can make an incubator with minimal cash lay out that will be better than one that you could spend up to a hundred dollars to buy. There are excellent tutorials on this site. Check out "Rush Lane". If you have the confidence to re-wire a lamp, you can build an incubator. Just be sure your design includes a thermostat, and a fan.

One of the above posts says do not shine light directly on the eggs. Why not? I just built a homemade incubator from an old cooler and put some holes in it, a light and a container for water. I put in a dimmer switch to regulate heat and this has been working well for a week plus but I do have the eggs right below the bulb.
