Pass on the savings and sell them to me! That is if you ship...

I think I will hatch them. ;)

That's what I mean, hatch them and sell me the chicks, cheap of course! :D

I am thinking I am going to keep them.... where to put them is another problem... I will see how many hatch and then figure that out later

If I were you I would do the same thing. I paid a whole lot more than a bag of feed for my ccl eggs. Luckily I had good hatch rates with them.

So today I got cream legbar eggs, 5 of them plus I got 7 Norwegian jaerhorn eggs! That is perfect, I was wanting to add the jaerhorn and I was lucky enough to get them in the September swap!

I got 12 CCL a gallon of grapes to can and 20 water nipples for $20

If I get my GNH in time I will set them with my Wyandotte eggs and that will be one of my last BIG batches in the bator.

Hello, my name is Clucky and I'm afraid I'm an incubating addict. I started out just wanting to test my home made incubator on some Trader Joe fertile eggs, and when they hatched, I could feel the awe, the Power, THE CUTENESS!

My last batch of eggs didn't work out, so now it's that Vegas feeling, do I feel lucky?

Can I get Serama eggs to hatch next time?

And worst still.... wouldn't it be good to make that old cooler into a second 'bator? So I'm about to go outside and clean up that old cooler. The question is, should I reuse the parts of the first 'bator or spend $15 and make this a second 'bator with the first as backup?

I tend to want to spend the money but then my hubby will know I've spent money again... ugh, hate getting yelled at,

BTW, you guys are so funny!

WELCOME! I would use one as a hatcher and one as an incubator, so you can have staggared hatches

in that case I think you need to spend the $15 so they BOTH work. Buy him a shop light or something and he will not pay any attention to the $15 of stuff in the bag too. BLIND him with TOOLS!

OK.... I am really going to STOP hatching. I set some GNH and CCL and BLRW and Lavs and Blacks and who knows what. I think about 45 eggs, but I know some are not going to be fertile. I am not having great luck with the GNH.... hubby really wants be to get rid of them... I think he might be right. I might sell the pullets and hens, keep a roo for sex links in the spring. IDK.... something is going to have to give, I have TOOOOOO many new breeds I like better.... choc orps,

CCL or is it CLB , White Wyandottes and I think something else. I know the EE have to go and so do the Olive Eggers. Spring might be it for those breeding pens. I can always make more Olive Eggers, I pretty much sold all my EE, but I kept a roo and a pullet or two. Might should get rid of them too to keep temptation away.... in the spring.... after I hatch some
