Hi Betty,

Not to be an enabler but look at this classified... This is blue, olive and chocolate layers... Pure marans, ameracaunas and a mix of ameracaunas x marans to make olive eggers

really can't be beat for $42 (that's with shipping added!)

https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...ucana-bbs-marans-olive-eggers-buy-it-now/0_40

These will be shipped to me sometime next week when I place the order as soon as I can this weekend or Monday. Beautiful birds and eggs!!!

I saw that but most of the forty on order are asst dark layers so I don't need anymore marans plus trying to make it harder/easier on myself I'm trying to get them in one order.

Just to clarify, here on this thread, we will definitely help you with your addiction.........................we will help ENABLE it!! Welcome fellow addicts!!

Hi,
My name is Jennifer and I am a hatchaholic. I have 18 in the incubator now. 12 Cuckoo Marans and 6 I think Easter Eggers. I thought I was buying Americaunas on Ebay, but when I received the eggs, they look more like Easter Eggers. Not that I'm complaining. As a hatchaholic sometimes I am just happy to have something in the incubator. I love all my peeps equally. I'm sure most of you understand.

I'm a loser. I've set about a dozen this go-around, and ONE hatched. Now, they are my eggs, and I think my Roo is a bit lazy, but now I've got a single chick with a mirror for a friend.

Hi , my name is Ed and I am a hatchoholic .I have 23 birds in the brooder,32 eggs in the incubator,60 phoenixs in the coup.
The wife said it was her or the birds. Sure do miss her but the chicks are so moch easier to please.

Oh my gosh have I found the right thread!

My name is Kathy, I am a chicken and turkey addict. I have two Brinsea incubators that hold approximately 20 +/- eggs each. One is full of duck eggs and the other only has three lonely duck eggs in it.

I'm seriously considering looking for some breeds I don't have and putting them with my 3 lonely duck eggs!

So happy I found you!!!!

PS. I think I have turned my 11 year old daughter into one also

Hello, my name is Nadine and I am a hatchoholic!
A few years ago my boyfriend agreed to 2 or 3 chickens as pets, that totally got out of hand, but he stayed with me through all the early morning crowing, chicken poop on the porch, eggs taking up all the room in the fridge and birds trying to get in the car with him to go to work with him, what a great guy he is to put up with my addiction.
I currently have several adult birds in one coop and running all over the yard, 6 ducklings in the grower run with pool, the heated grower run currently has several bantams, polish and silkies, in it. Inside the brooders there are the younger bantams, sultans, more silkies and d'uccles. I have bantam polish eggs due tomorrow(3 are pipped already), bantam la fleche the week after, the week after that due to hatch are several guineas and turkeys and I just set a few more of my project bantam eggs in the few free spaces I had left. 2 completely full incubators...again. I don't have room for all of these birds, I will have to let them live in the house and sleep under a bridge, maybe beg at the street corner for coop building money. Is there a rehab program for people like me?
