Incubators Anonymous

If any one is interested in turkey eggs, sweet grass or bourbon Reds, please contact me about getting some soon. These girls usually stop laying by mid AUgust. 3 sweet grass poults and a wet BR poult just out. Bourbon Red: Thomas Edison Sweetgrass Jake
I would have loved some for this trip. If by chance they lay to the end of August I will snap them up.

ok fwiw, I have lots of eggs available, if anyone wants to hatch something...
sg dorking, free range mix (mostly pure dorkings & EE's hatch), bantam blrw (they were free ranging a week ago so possibly not pure), bantam blrw x partridge cochin, EE's (many weebies), sfh (possibly not pure they were free ranging as of last weekend).

pm me if you are interested. I have them on a bst also with some pics... I will ship or local pickup.

Set eggs for my first hatch ever today! Ack! I am so nervous but excited!

Please don't let me fail these babies!!!! Grow chickies grow!

My iPad does not like to do these replies. Sorry if I messed that up. I do wish you the best and a happy, happy hatch:)

Thank you so much! I told my kiddos they had to be turned at least 3 times a day... My 5 year old daughter has now asked me several times if it was time to turn them already, lol! Guess the kiddos will keep me on my toes!

I still remember my first hatch-- I was a nervous wreck too the entire 22 days. Up late at night check and candling and looking at the temp records for anomolies. About 50% hatch my first time so I wish you luck, keeep records and keep an eye on the air cells!!

Already have a page in a notebook for records, and plan on drawing a pencil line for the air cells! I have had my incubator on and stable for days... I knew when I put the eggs in there would be a slight temp drop, now just trying to get it back to the perfect levels... Ugh, I hope this goes well! Lol
