Quote: I was getting 6 eggs a day if I was lucky.... today I got 27 out back and 15 in the shop and another 8 out front. Time to put up my new ad on the BST section. I set 150 eggs and I sold several doz..... I would SO be in big trouble if I had not sold some. My roo guy came and took about 60 roos under 2.5 months old. I told him we were soon going to have to do this every two weeks. I just can't feed all those roos.

wow... 60 roos is alot to feed.. especially when they get into what i call the raptor phase and eat everything in sight....

I don't have much luck selling hatching eggs but i seem to do OK with selling chicks.. but i have never gone this far before..

I have 54 duck eggs in a hova bator 1588 and 34 chicken eggs in a still air incubator, I also have an egg turner for the 1588 and would like to use it so I don't have to turn so many eggs. But the egg turner only holds 41 eggs so I would have to put the extras in the still air Incubator. Should I put the extra duck eggs in the still air incubator or would that mess them up since it is 2 degrees warmer than the 1588?
its not really 2 degrees warmer. its just 2 degrees warmer at the top of the eggs - as there is no circulation and hot air rises, the bottom of the eggs will be cooler.

it should be fine to put them in there
