I'm worried about my eggs. My humidity is not going and there isn't any water only incubator, its still around 55

Put a dish of dry rice in the incubator, it will absorb some of the humidity. You can just change it for fresh, dry rice as needed.

x2, I usually keep mine between 30-35% until lockdown. It seems to work out really well.

are you talking wet bulb or what on your humidity.

Mine are about 8 weeks old.... what is half grown to you? They are fully feathered and I need to wean them off the heat before I do anything. I was losing them right and left when they were little so I put 2 lights in the pen and now they are down to one..... I need to reduce the bulb watt. It is getting cold here at night... 25 tonight.

8-10 weeks old. Literally as the reach half the size of the grown ones I move them from the banty pen to the adult side of the coop. Sneak a peek at them real late or real early and see what they are doing around the heat lamp. That should give you a better idea of where your at with them.

I can put a heat lamp in the big pen if needed, but I really don't want to do that. My big ones are free ranging during the day, when I put the little ones in should I just let them run with the big ones or keep them ALL penned up for a few days till they KNOW each other and will follow the big ones around?????? Can you tell I am new to guinea?

lol ive been learning about them as i go. I would leave them all penned together for about a week to "bond". then the little ones should stick around the adults and learn the ropes from them.

I don't think that would cause too much of a problem. BTW you can use crackers too. Me on the other hand I can't get my humidity up past 30% and it usually reads LOW

I would like it about 35% I think that works best for my bator..... but I don't worry when it is low. Maybe I need a sponge in there..... hummmmm

Rippy your bators are big enough, what about just trying out one of the repti foggers like im using? you can find digital controllers for them too.

I am going to take the heat light OUT and keep them in for a couple of more weeks and THEN toss them to the ..... guinea pen

Next year EARLY HATCHES for me on the guinea.
