Incubators that go on the fritz at lockdown?

For the last year I have hatched out 4 sets of eggs. Around 20 in each batch. All eggs are fertile and growing till lockdown, then over 95% of them die before even hatching, with usually 2-3 days late hatching for the ones who do make it. I have set multiple humidity gauges and temperature gauges to keep everything good. But when you work and there is no one around its hard to make sure everything stays good till you see the fuff-butts, something always goes wrong for me! After so many failed attempts on my part, I finally realized that my incubator is dropping its temperature as soon as the eggs start to hatch. And its big drops too! like 10-20 degrees. the only thing i can think of is the extra humidity from the chicks is messing with the heater. Has anyone ever had this issue? Or do I need to make a "hatching brooder" with maybe a light and a humidifier to keep the temperature and humidity truly perfect for the babies!?"
