I am at 5500 feet above sea level in an area where the average humidity level is less than 20%. It would be a total miracle if what worked for you also worked for me!
here where I am is slightly below sea level in most places I am aprox 10 miles south of the chesapeake bay and 8-10 miles west of the coast normally we run 65-70% ++ RH but in the winter time with the bator running I keep a pot of water on my stove top to raise humidity in the house back when I heated with a wood stove I used something like this i put popurri in it and all
I have also just filled one of my crock pots with water and left it on low all day then refill it when I get home to keep the RH up in the house
