I am interested in getting an incubator (hopefully Santa will bring it ) but I have no idea which is the best type and were to buy a good one. Please let me know what you think I should look for and which accessories are really needed. Thank you for any info.. .

What are you looking for in an incubator? How many and what type of eggs do you plan to incubate? Maintenance?

I just want something that will handle a dozen chicken eggs maybe. I am not mechanically inclined so the simplier the better. If turning is critical, I would like a turner because I am not home during the day to do that. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I do want a good quality incubator and understand they are not cheap. I don't really want all the bells and whistles, just the basics needed to give the eggs a fighting chance.
