IncuCube Bator

Ive thought about making one. But I dont any have idea how unless I take all the pieces out of my stupid LG to put in something else, and add a fan.
But then wouldnt it be like a souped up LG?
LG's are STUPID

I made a great incubator from directions I got from BYC bator pages.
I made my own egg turner too.
I just looked through all of the plans on here and used a cooler that my daughter's insulin is shipped in, water heater thermostat, a pc fan, a digital thermoter from walmart, a piece of plexi glass, 6 volt power converter and some 1/4" pvc pipe for the egg turner.
This is my very first hatch and they are due to hatch April 2. I candled yesterday and they are all going and doing good.
I spent about $20 max on all of the parts and put it together in a few hours.

I love my home made bator. I had considered buying but didn't want to spend that much money.

I checked the questions submitted to the seller and pirce on turner is expected to be 35 and you can have the complete item shipped to you at one time. If they prove to be able to ship in a couple of weeks with a complete unit I will give it a try. I have shopped multiple stores in my area regarding off the shefl syro incubators and this one is worth a try. They are offering a 1 year warranty.

It is so great to see talk about the . I am with [URL='http://incubatorwarehouse.com']IncubatorWarehouse.com and wanted to give some details about the IncuCube . We have been developing (testing, building, re-testing, etc) the IncuCube egg incubator for just over a year now. The IncuCube is not for everyone it is designed to fit a gap in the incubator market. The target is for those that want to incubate a small number of eggs (15 chicken and 40+ quail) and not have to pay an arm and a leg to do so. Most people don't realize how large a Little Giant or HovaBator incubator is (it takes up a good portion of a table). We designed the incubator as a cube to encourage a more even air flow. The whole incubator runs using a 12VDC 4amp power converter, plenty of power to heat the incubator (in response to a previous comment, just to give you an idea this is the type of power converter you'd use to power a laptop). Low voltage DC is safe for you and your birds. And the IncuCube is Assembled in the USA.

You can check out the IncuCube on our website at http://incubatorwarehouse.com/index.php/egg-incubators/tabletop/incucube-egg-incubator.html.

When I inquired on the ebay site the response was maybe by end of the week hopefully. I am very interested in this design/size and I am waiting the the complete unit to keep it a simple purchase. Let's see if they can keep to the anticipated schedule and get them out their soon. Hubby already said.. on payday order one

That's all the encouragement I need!

IncubatorWarehouse.. thanks for posting the extra info... It was useful. Just wondering.. the temp control appears to be a dial of sorts.. during your testing how did you find the accuracy? Did you need to adjust every so often or if the room is fairly stable the temp needed no adjusting?

That's a cute little bator! I paid $99 for my Brinsea eco 20. It's great EXCEPT the fan is on top and blows directly down on the quail eggs, sealing them in their membranes when the pip. I have combated this by sticking a wetted down sanitary napkin on the top over the fan vents. I prefer my homemade bator for hatching out. No direct flow.

If it was a little bigger, like 20 eggs I would use it as a hatcher. there seems to be a lot of space above the eggs. Is it styrofoam?

My wife has giving me the okay so I will be ordering one as soon as the turner is available. I will post pictures and let everyone know how things turn out on my first hatch. I can't wait. I wonder how many bantam eggs it will hold?
