I'm thinking of doing the same thing. How high do you get your humidity at hatch? I'm going to eventually be doing turkey eggs, which I'm told needs a minimum hatching humidity of 65%, but a bit higher is better.I bought 2 of these incubators for hatching only, they do pretty well, easy to see the hatching progress, holds temps well and for humidity I fill the bottom totally and add a wet sponge does great! The down size is it's small and could be taller inside but other than that I really like them.![]()
Sorry about the buttons! We want you to be 100% satisfied with the product, which is why we offer a 1-year hassle-free guarantee. If you'd like feel free to give our customer service a call (208-740-1344) and we'd be glad to work out a solution with you. You can also send me a PM if that's easier. Again sorry about the issue.Did anyone else have trouble with "sticky buttons" on the programmer? It seemed like they weren't working and then after pushing a lot of times they finally woke up. Not sure if I should talk to the company about it or not?

Yep, that's what we saw also. I waited a day or so to take the water out of the incubator and for us I think that was a mistake. Is it possible that you have an egg that's especially porous? Or that the humidity is high in your area right now and you aren't aware of that fact?
