I am done hatching for a bit and am selling as many eggs as I can. I hate to throw them away. I will send them out Wednesday if Paid. I set these in Mahonri's Easter hacth. My Black coppers in this pen are from some of Revolutions mama's last eggs. The roo is one I raised . He was sired by a blue copper from Prathers on these hens. I will post some pic of him tommorow. These are nice dark eggs, but have lightend a bit. These hens really lay, 4 in the pen, have been getting 3 or 4 eggs a day since they started up after thier winter break, These hens layed at 5 months to the week. The pullets from these gals first hatch just started laying and they are laying just as dark as thier moms. They would be the sisters to the roo. Should be 12 eggs without a problem and will fit in maybe 14 in the box. I will take paypal only.
Black coppers are 3 rows on the left. next 2 rows are wellsummers, the last 2 rows are blue copper, blue splash and black coppers covered with a blue splash roo.

o snap , wouldn't you know 1 egg today, but will include eggs from this pen. This blue copper roo is full brother to the black in with the black coppers. I could not get the black copper to stand still, he was worrying about the pen over and was very windy here today. The black is the spittin image of this blue. same pattern, nice eye color, red ear coverts. slate legs, horn beak, some color in the breat. My hens are a bit to dark and hope is to correct the balance some with this mating. This blue is over the blue copper and black coppers from the same mating or previous mating.

The blue copper pullet behind the roo is one of them laying.She is laying as dark as the old hens and large eggs, she and one other in this pen have been laying about 6 weeks and I have eggs in my bator that will hatch this friday form her. In a couple of weeks I will switch the roos in thier pens. so at this time I have 7 eggs for this auction.

I got 2 more Black Copper eggs today, so have 7 BC,and 2 out of the pen mentioned above. I can wait until Thursday to mail and add the eggs from tommorrow, or I have 5 saved from this pen. Buyers choice

There are 3 black coppers ,Jesse Bryant bloodline, a Blue splash and a blue copper. with the Blue splash roo over them. I have only been saving the black coppers sp these will be ble copper. These hens are big, have good hackle color, good eye color, but do not lay as quite as dark, plus these have been laying since late november, early dec. They were hatched early may last year. They have not been through a moult or stopped yet. They did lay darker earlier this winter , maybe about a 7 at best. The blue splash and blue copper lay smaller solid colored eggs, so I have sorted them out.Blue Splash came from Prathers, Davis bloodline, He is hugh and the nicest roo to his hens. very gentle. Soory for the messed up auction. I wanted to send our really fresh eggs, Now know why people collect eggs for week before auction.Darn chickens.
