Hi, yesterday my partner noticed our 5 month old Indian game rooster limping pretty badly. I haven't yet had the chance to examine him but I'm hoping its only a soft tissue injury. He is favouring his right leg and his knee is not extending fully as he puts weight on it. I am hoping he hasn't dislocated anything because I'm not sure how to put it back in. Does anyone have any tips or advice regarding hip/knee injuries. He is a big boy and I know Indian game are known for their hip problems due to their weight but this has come on too suddenly. Thanks!

Hi there.
I have never owned indian game birds, but I will suggest that you give a half of a 81 mg baby aspirin to the roo once a day in a gallon of water to help with the pain... other than that, I honestly think it will heal on it's own. Observe him for a few day and see if the limping worsens. :) Goodluck.
