Indian Runner Duck Question

Last spring I bought some hatching eggs and ended up with 8 ducks. they were all laying very well. The coyotes got all but 2 (1 male 1 female) she has not been laying for about 2 month or so, (since their nest was broke up) they are safe in a pen now and I was wondering why she has not started back laying yet? Any Ideas?

Some ducks don't lay in the winter when the days are short.

As for why your particular duck is not laying, I don't have a clue. It could be diet, hours of light, molting, trauma, hidden nest, any number of things.

My runners have not layed in a couple of months either. Mine stoped right at the start of the weather change so that is what i would say it is.
