At my school we have 4 runner ducks and 2 will drink through 2, 5 quarts in a hour. Any suggestions to help with keeping up with there water? The ducks in the pictures are Daisy (dawn and white) and Willow (blue).

Beautiful runners! I love runners! First of all that water thing you've got isn't good for them. Just get a bucket of some kind. They need to be able to put their whole heads under water to clean out their nares and they can't do that with the waterer you've got. Just a simple bucket will do and it should last the whole day with just 2 ducks but I'd get 2 buckets if you can. This is what I use for my 11 runners. It's just a laundry soap bucket. It's easy to clean and with these four ducks 2 buckets last them all day. I've got another bucket thats not in the picture.

Hey I saw that you own some runner ducks recently we got a duckling to be a friend for our older duck which is 2 years old as her friend recently passed away who was the same age as her. The duckling is constantly making noise when she isn't sleeping and the noise gets louder when we leave her alone for example when I need to go to the toilet any advice on what to do as we want her to live outside when she is old enough but we are worried about our neighbours complaining about the noise as we have a lot of funny people on our street.

Thank you in advance
Beth

Could you post a video of her making that noise? I'm not sure what you mean. It may be nothing but without a video we'd have a hard time telling you.

In order to post a video on here you first have to post to YouTube or Vimeo then copy and paste the link to it on here.

There's two different types she's been doing a lower pitch and quieter one then this really loud one in the early hours of the morning and when someone leaves the room I will try to record both.
