CraftyChick~ I think i see the shelf liner. lol In my homemade incubator i dont have a thermostat. I just drilled holes around it. Its a plastic cooler. It keeps good temp most of the time. everyonce in a while i either tape over some holes or i take the tape off.

Cluckacres~ yeah I am messing with the blanket. Do you think Ishould get a bigger bulb, and drill holes/crack a top corner up? It's a 40 watt, and Ihave the fan. Didn't know if the plant would be sufficient enough, or need to vent

I just did a assist on a egg. The little one piped on skinny side of egg last night and couldnt get out. So after carefully thought and concentration I pulled of some of the shell and cut some of the membrane. Just very little blood. I then put it back in and its still trying to get out. Will leave it in there for little while and see what happens. Its trying so hard!!
