Last year I did not have a single unassisted hatch with the geese. What a pain!
So glad to hear he is ok! Check with bradselig, he sometimes will have chicks that aren't the color he is working towards etc.and they are gorgeous birds.#1 playing with the dogs after eating 4 oz of milk. ( first time I got more then 1 oz down him at 1 time )

#2 this morning after I took his socks and ear muffs off... lol should have got pic's with them on but didn't think about it. Yes I left his coat on.

Yesterday we gathered 7 eggs! I was SO happy that everyone got extra treats! Apparently, my girls LOVED the extras and didn't want them to stop coming because they layed 11 EGGS today!! and one is blue! I believe it came from my tailless EE! I'm gathering all of the scraps and extra veggies I can find for them as I type!I think spring is finally here! My BR turkey (oldest hen only) and the geese are all laying like mad! pretty happy about that![]()
