Do you know how old they are? My oldest Muscovy was 7 years old and when she hit 3 years old, she would lay an egg once a week- to a month.
We're considering Nigerian's next year. Haven't decided yet because it would mean downsizing my flock.

@Nyla - here's a today picture DH sent me. Their caruncles aren't even turning orange to suggest thye're laying somewhere hidden.View attachment 1348655

Oh my, congrats to your family. :yesss: Children need a safe, stable home with a routine environment.

They told us 2 years old. I was really hoping for some eggs and some babies. :hit

The constant weird weather could be throwing them off, plus, they might take awhile to adjust to a new place. They don't look like hybrids (infertile crosses between Muscovies and mallard-derived breeds), so that shouldn't be the issue. Probably weather and adjusting. Caruncles don't always shift drastically in color when laying, though by the end of the cycle, they'll probably be paler.

@Faraday40 I set 6 eggs from the silkied Cochins last night. Including some from my precious Abra Abie-Baby Li'l Munchkin. :love :fl Three weeks to munchkin babies!!
