INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Sorry about your chickens. My 7 yr old son got mauled by a pitbull two weeks ago. It was horrible. Unfortunately he was at a friends house so it took them a min to get the dog off of him... I wish I would have been there to kill that dog. I bet you feel the same way!! Maybe you should just keep throwing chocolate to the dogs... For a treat..... Muhahaha

Warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not look below if you don't want to see dog bites!!!

Kabhyper- yes they are! He made the comment" don't your dogs get out"? And my reply was NEVER! And that's my plan, to be responsible and not let them escape!!

On better notes.... Love the cat pics! I have a big house cat, rescue of course, and he too can be very demanding! He's a big long haired tiger names Fritz Von Bighoofen!!

ATH- I'm right there with you!! Taking me all evening to catch up!!

Vicki- thought you'd enjoy a turkey story!! My grandparents moved to the country in 1927 from inner city Indy. And with the farm they bought( where I live now) came with animals. One was a big Tom turkey. Which used to flog her every time she walked out of the house. Probably didnt help that she was a city girl!! Well my grandfather came from a big German family, and they would all come to "the farm" to vacation and play! So my grandmother was tickled to get to "do him in" so she could feed all the family!!! So feel free once he's done his job!!;)

There were tons more things to comment on but I can't remember them all now!!!

ATH- omg!!! Were the authority's notified!!! Yeah the parental kill nature would've killed that dog for sure!!! With whatever means possible!!!

Yea they were but there was nothing they could do other then keep it caged for 10 days. Then they let the owner keep it. A week later the dog bit another kid!!!!!! They finally killed it.

Yeah he's ok... Sorry danand I didn't mean to take away from your chickens I was just relating for the hate of dogs... And some owners....

Anyone on here possibly interested in any boys? I may have too many and I want to find good homes for them. I don't eat my chickens and would prefer that no one else does either. I just don't have the room to balance out my flock with more pullets. I have a Silver laced Wyandotte cockerel who is very sweet, a partridge cochin cockerel (bantam) and possibly 1 or two bantam brahma cockerels. Its to soon to tell with them. One buff one light. I love them all, but I can't keep them all. Being that we are all neighbors, sort of, Im asking you all first. Pics of them on my profile.

I will take the bantam and cochin.

Oh wow! AATH, I believe the owner was just as responsible for not training or keeping an eye on that dog! I feel some jail time would be appropriate for the owner I hope your boy is okay!

ATH- you didn't !! At least it was finally put down!! What in the world are people thinking?? Regardless of breed, a big dog is strong!! And they all can have urges, weather it started with play or whatever!!
