I would be willing to do that. What kind of hens do you have? I will only rehome to someone for pets or breeding. Not food. lol I'm weird I know. When did you want to have new homes for them? I have an excess of hens, but they are still only about 3 to 5 weeks old yet. I could trade you a couple hens for a couple roos![]()
It's due to turkeys being susceptible to Blackhead disease and chickens are not. So your chickens can be a carrier and be just fine, but if you add turkeys you risk them catching the disease. That is my understanding. Not all areas have blackhead in the soil though, so you may never have an issue. I believe there is someone you can call to see if there are reports of blackhead in your area, just can't remember who it is.

I have Leghorns and a RIR cross (not the prettiest) but I do have two golden laced wyandottes and a pretty chick but I am not sure of her breed. Unfortunately the "pretty ones" are rescues, they are missing their wing feathers right now! What kind of hens do you have? I'm looking for one more but I want it to be a pretty breed. Ie Swedish flower hen, sebright, laced wynadotte, etc.
