Hello, I am in Southern Indiana just north of Evansville. I am looking for a few day old chicks if anyone has any near by. Thanks

Welcome! I'm in the Evansville area also. Glad you joined as I have been looking for more chicken lovers in this area. What type of chicks are you looking for?

I am very sorry to hear.
I have been keeping one in my house for 2 nights so far that had her back picked bare. I am very concerned about frostbite on the bare skin or the constant picking injuring her worse. She is not too happy inside, though, but I hope she will be better since I gave her a big container of dirt to bathe in.

if you click the "members list" link in my signature, we have several listed that have chickens, etc.. what county are you in?

I, I checked out the list. Some of my info is off a touch.
We are in Bargersville. We have RIR and a few mutts from craigs list. The mutts are small but close to LF size.
