Crafty hick- I'm amazed at the different selection that Columbus had over Greensburgs. And they were cheaper!! Greensburg didn't have any pullets they were all strait run. And all of them look great. I need bigger tubs since I've "lost " my mind though!! I am amazed at how quickly they are changing and their little feathers are popping. Such fun. I had my DH go look at them and he was like "yeah, yeah, whatever"!! He really thinks I've lost my mind. And as long as its not work for him it's ok. I've Ben throwing in a few mealworms..... They go NUTS!!!

I have noticed a lot of differences between stores also. I really think its who their order person is, and if they pay good attention to the customer requests.

Danand! Don't tell me they are in columbus! I am stayng away. I have 8 in the incubator... I can wait

my little gang of chicks are doing great so far i havent had a pasty butt so i guess im doing something right lol.... Flos feathers are growing nicely cant wait to soo what all of them will look like when there bigger

Thats the best part, watching them grow up!

OMgosh you guys, I am loving this. DH is getting excited over it all now too

He is actually starting to help me a little with the builds and fences.

Has anyone seen or own the new redesigned little giant bator? I saw them at the Big R in Wabash and wondering how they compare to the old. From a quick look, it seems like they are deeper now. Closer to the hovabator style. Not sure what type of thermostat they are using in the new ones. It makes me want to buy it though just to see lol.

I seen those. Yes they are deeper and it has the thermometer built into the lid. They are pretty much the same price as the old one like i have. I am wanting to get one of those as well. Tell you what... You buy one then let me know how well it works out. LOL

Haha I probably will. Since Big R price matches ill have them price match TSC (old and new bator have same model #) plus I have a $25 gift card. So I can get the bator for $10!

think i am going to build a chest style next! I want more room!!!

I bought a homemade cabinet style from rsutr101 little over a week ago and love it! Holds temps and humidity very well. I'm making a new door for it with a window so I can watch eggs turn? I know sounds pathetic lol. But overall very happy and will be building another one sometime to use as a hatcher.
