My bantys are real active today too... racing around. I have one that looks like a chipmunk, stands up straighter than the others, yet its smaller. Any ideas of what it is?

I spent some time on BYC looking at the bred section. Most had chick pics with them. Plus everybody on our thread had ideas! Otherwise I'm clueless on these things.... Other than color or fuzzy legs ' they all look the same to me!!

Just had a hatch! Golden Campine. Brad and I went together on these eggs off ebay. So far i think he had 1 hatch and I just had my 1st one hatch.

It's all I can to do keep up with chicks that are already hatched!! I don't know how you-all do it!! And keep track!!

after doing it so long and can sometimes pretty much look at a egg and tell what chicken, or what breed laid it. LOL

Out of 7 girls laying I know who's they are but more than that and I'll be in trouble!!

I'm going to head to home depot for lumber and cinder blocks to lift my coop and put a floor on it. This'll be fun, hopefully my DH and I can tilt it and shove the cinder under it. We are little people. Hoping for no injuries either. Going to buildonto the south side of it to add an attached coop for the bantys, and space for them to brood. Weather better cooperate!
