INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Hi everyone from Indiana, I'm from Crawfordsville, hoping to find someone near me for some help. I just got a coop and am planning out a run, I want to start with poulets or birds under a year old, I only need 5 or six hens, was wondering if anyone in my area sells these, breed doesn't matter, I'd like a variety of colorful birds in my coop. Chime in if your anywhere near the 'Cats Meow' Antique shop on 32, I live next door to them. Thanks Sue

I have a few mystery chicks. If I post pics is there someone on here that might be able to identify them? They were suppose to be wyandottes, but I pretty much knew from the get go that they were NOT wyandottes.

Jchny: Thanks for the goat info. We will keep our eyes open for a milker

AATH: Your set-up looks fine..... even a roosting bar! Only 2 chicks.. I guess establishing which is alpha (pecking order thing)

Welcome Pink! Nice coop if that is it in your avatar. How about getting some chicks at Tractor Supply? The only downside is that the one around here mostly has leghorns and sexlink chicks. Not ideal cold weather birds but great layers!

Welcome to the thread... Glad to have you here.

They have been selling Wyndottes, 'red' pullets and leghorns at the TSC on Brookville Rd. Have not checkout Greenfields for a while. I could make a call to Orschelns in Greenfield to see what they have in stock (that's where I got my RIR's from and they are healthy and laying machines).

If there is something there that floats your boat I am more than happy to pick them up and meet you half way to drop them off.

Photo Shoot Today:

My daughter's Barred Rocks

My son's Americauas

My sister's ISA Browns

My Amber Links

My nephew's "Mystery Chickens"
They were marked as Silver Laced Wyandottes.
We figured they were something else but not sure what.
Anyone have a clue what these next five chickens are?

These are my nephew, niece, son, and daughter's
