INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Hehe aath! There will be some pecking, chest bumping etc, its the nature of the birds, (pecking order) Gradual introduction is the only way. I take my newest hatches out at 4 weeks now, they go into the main coop and its working well. I have a seperate run attached they spend a few days in, then on into the big coop. the adult birds don't care, the youngest are the most common to react. One of my hens actually has started mothering somewhat, and seems to look out for the new babies. One option to try on an aggressive bird is the peepers that fit on the nose. they can't peck what they cant see, and seems to help stop it. I have a turkey I plan to get some for, he is a grab and hold biter, and really picks at another small jake.

X2 I think its a great idea!

UGH! So heartless! How can anyone dump a puppy, let alone a litter out like that, it just rips my heart out. I will ask everyone I know if anyone has room.

Yeah, that is why I won't give them to just any one. I am definitely not posting them for sale. People who buy a 15.00 pup often cannot afford to have it fixed let alone heartworm prevention and periodic vaccinations. Last thing I want is the adult dog along with its litter dumped a year later. Thanks for all the suggestions guys!
