I love Royal palms. (Sorry I have to tell the story again) lol I bought 4 2 day old poults last year planning on keeping a pair selling the other 2. 4 I thought gave me a better chance of getting a pair. I got 4 boys. :/ and 1 never colored out? He's solid white? They defintly are like little lost puppys lol follow you everywhere.I took them camping for a week with me ( I no crazy) 1 day bf went out in the boat fishing i went to nap in the tent they stood on the bank scteaming at bf bc they thought they had been abandoned lol about 20 minutes I decided a nap wasn't going to happen so I opened the tent which they heard and come running. I think they were scolding me for leaving them bc they were right in my face chirping away. They finally went and got in their mud puddle I made by dumping melted ice from the cooler o the ground. I got my nap no more fits lol the guy I bought them from thought I was insane! Lol he said they stayed there no cage or anything? Lol btw I'm still trying to sell 2 of my toms. I love them but don't need that many boys. I'm suppose to get 6 babies tomorrow. (Thinking 6 will give me a better chance of getting some girls) lol since that worked out soo well last time. Lol

hehe, they really bond to you. once they mature tho it does change. Once my birds a laying i just watch and gather the eggs I can.

Jchny's proposed wayward chicken BBQ at Reformatory Park and TooFast's idea of teaching pet chickens a lesson is sounding like a good plot for a "Chicken Run" movie sequel! Just remember that the chickens always win. : - )

Yes, the chickens win. The ending would have them squawking and flapping, doing a crazy chicken dance. Roll the credits! Like the Pacers did last night, stealing one from Miami.

Darn. I thought about seeing if I could get a refund, but I dont want to cause any problems. But I will definatley not buy eggs from this person again. Thanks for the info

My opinion is the person who sold you bogus eggs is the one causing problems, not you politely asking for a refund/replacement if it's true about the eggs being too old to incubate. I don't have any info about how old is too old for eggs and incubation.

Alright, the ground has been broken! My coop addition has officially begun!

Yeah, pictures! Let's see them. Dang this weather this spring, it has been so cold with only one warm spell it seems. At least next week looks like low 80s, all week, finally.

I have chickens hatching and hatched. A touch later than expected most likey from the power going out. Still I woke up to 25 little chicks and 7 eggs still left to go.
if anyone on here wants them they are $1 each I have them listed on CL for $2 each. Who knows maybe greenwood will change their laws and there will be a jump in demand for chicks. Either way, I'm learning more about this incubating. I'm hoping to sell enough chicks this summer to pay for my 1588 incubator to use come January.
