Never heard of gravy bread. After googling it looks like it's basically biscuits and gravy but on bread?

Googling 'gravy bread' is very funny.
Gravy bread is what you eat when you utilize the drippings from the meat you cooked the day before to make dinner the next day. It is simply gravy on bread.
Not usually a rich person's meal. :)

Do they have to be a Scot and wear a kilt?

If it increases egg laying production of nice fertile eggs, then yes. Since it most likely does not, I think jeans this time of year would work great. March is still a tad early for shorts or kilts or skirts imo. It would be a good culture lesson for my children as they don't know any Scottish people.

So cute!  Your brooder looks nice, too.  Have they or will they kick much mess out the side with the window?  I might try to do something similar with my set up.

A bit of bedding has been kicked out, but it hasn't been bad.  I knew some would come out but I wanted them to have a big "window" so I made it as large as possible.  I will put towels around it if it becomes an issue.  I bought the largest tote I could find, it is pretty big! I used a box cutter to cut the windows and then drilled holes so I could zip tie the chicken wire on.  It wasn't too bad of a project and total cost was around $30.
brooder is like that...without the "window". Now I'm thinking it needs one! Lol if for nothing else so that I can see in. Love watching the Bitties!
