This coming from a man that said " I just don't get why on earth you want chickens??"

And I want to thank Brad... he wants Silkies too, he wanted to put them in the same Big Man house... I don't know if that would be such a good ideal???? they are so small and Cochin's are so big...

and check out my biggens...

aint they so cute sitting up there like a couple of biggins...

Lousy. I have had these girls 6 months, they are almost a year old. Not a single egg YET.
I really like them, but I need a rooster for them! I got rid of both mine, and my tolbunt roo passed away during the cold snaps.

I have a roo that needs a home that might work for you. He's a buff laced, about 10 months and knows his business. He's not too rough on the girls. I have a polish brahma mix roo from him. Which is why I'm looking for a home for him. He's too pretty to process, but I want to keep his son and that puts me with too many roos.

Not the best pic of him, but it is my most recent.

Here is a pic of the whole family. Mama, son, and father. Genetics are so interesting. With two colorful parents, he comes out mostly white..... He has the small crest, and has an interesting comb too. His body type and feathering is all brahma. He's a bit bigger than his dad now.

Let me know if you are interested.
