Any suggestions to why a 6 month old EE would be acting like she can't walk or stand? I'm freaking out here! No bumblefoott, nothing visually, she is alert and chatting to me,![]()
Sorry to hear about her. I have a few questions...
Has she ever laid?
How long has she been in this condition? Was she walking normally yesterday?
Does she try to walk/stand, maybe flop around a bit, or does she just sit there contented?
How's her poop look? Formed or runny? Normal coloring to it?
How's her comb look?
How's her appetite?
Yes she is 6 months old, actually laid an egg while was making her a spot to away from the others, she managed to get herself into the nesting box, she was limping a bit last week, but seemed to get better, I thought she injured herself of the roosting bar, I haven't seen any droppings yet since I separated her, she is content sitting where she is now, I gave her water and food, she is eating, and made herself a nest she is picking at the straw n hay, in the dog create I put her in,
She doesn't peck, kinda makes whistle sounds of n on? Does that makes sense? Her legs are under her, she won't attempt to bear weight on her legs at all, her comb seems pink red,
So, her comb a nice red color, her eyes are bright, and appetite good.
When she chatters to you, is she talking in long drawn out sounds? Does she peck you?
When she sits, is it in a normal position with her legs underneath her?
If you lift her to her feet, does she stand for a minute and take a few steps or does she lose her balance and collapse?
