INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Cute_as_a_BugIMG_9093.jpg

I like this kind of a color pattern. But this particular goat happens to be a mini nubian and male at that too. But look at the coloring, The redish brown, the spots, and the floppy ears, all too cute.
It is really pretty and cute. The neater the patter the harder to find lol

what do goats have to fear? Or what eats / kills goats? I know we have owls and hawks but surely they would leave a goat alone.

When is the best time to buy a goat? I'm thinking I should start with a kid / weaned goat to be able to better get used to their size. It worked well for getting used to my extra large roosters. I think i should stick with the plan of start small / young and let it grow.

a coyote could probably kill a sickly goat. Though they wouldn't have the guts to do it. I have never had anything kill a goat mine are persay "vulnerable", as in all that stands between the coyote and the meal is a measly fence.

I hear people talk about mountain lions all the time, but have never seen one. I am sure they could kill one also. But never had a goat killed

Eating mashed potatoes!!! Of course you can see its back when we had snow.....My wife would warm them up and they would tare them up....
